We are delighted to support and sponsor The Corporate Receptionist of the Year Awards, #CROTY2019 and #CROTY2020. The awards ecognise the best of the corporate front-of-house professionals. Working in offices across the UK, receptionists are often the first people that a client, colleague or candidate meets. They are the face and the voice of a company, playing a vital role in representing the organisation.
Congratulations to all the CROTY2020 winners and nominees – exceptional front-of-house professionals from Portico, Rapport, ISS, CIS, Lexington and Sodexo. The overall winner was Diana Riaubiene from ISS at their contract with a financial institution. She received the prestigious trophy, as well as five-day trip to New York, dinner for two at Michelin-starred City Social restaurant in London, a two-day leadership development programme and a LinkedIn profile makeover.
“What an absolute honour it is to win”, said Diana Riaubiene. “This has inspired me to pursue my passion for excellent customer service and to encourage others to do the same”.
The event also celebrated the incredible professionalism of all ten finalists in this particularly challenging year. Each was shortlisted after a rigorous two stage selection process by a judging panel of industry leaders. This year the second stage included a personal presentation, interview and a demanding role play all conducted virtually via Zoom.
The judging panel also recognised two ‘highly commended’ winners – Laura Egerbacher, who works for Lexington Reception Services at their contract at British Land and Reiss Gordon-Henry who works for Rapport Guest Services at their contract at HSBC. Despite Covid-19, these two individuals showed exceptional energy and enthusiasm and still managed to develop personally and professionally this year.
