Staff Dining Head Chef - Blue Chip Contract
My client is the corporate arm of one of London's leading contract caterers providing bespoke dining options for a number of prestigious organisations within the capital.
They are currently seeking a strong, hands-on head chef to take charge of the staff dining operation in providing quality food for approximately 320 covers per day.
Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will need to be flexible with the demands of the business and be able to cope under a high pressure environment. You will be creative and forward thinking in your approach and willing to think outside the square in delivering a solid service tot he highest of standards. Whilst primarily you will be charged with the staff feeding, you will be required to help out with the various banqueting and hospitality style catering the unit has to offer.
The successful candidate will have a strong craft background and solid experience within a corporate environment working for a reputable caterer.
In return you will be paid a salary of circa £26k-28k for a Mon - Fri 40 hour week plus overtime paid at time and a half.
All candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
