Client ServicesCase Studies - Leading Hotel GroupAdmiral was asked to assist a major hotel group in the recruitment of its high-flier graduate intake - destined for international roles after their three-year training and development programme. Admiral approached faculty heads and lecturers on the most respected hospitality courses across the UK and then contacted the students direct via creative email-shots and on-campus events. The response was extremely positive with a very high volume of applications. Candidates were short-listed using the client's internal key competencies and invited to schedule on-line for telephone interviews. The interviews took place over 5 days with 4 dedicated recruiters interviewing 10 students per day. The 30 minute competency based telephone interview, designed specifically for the client assessed the following areas:
Summaries of each interview were provided for the client and the top 10% of candidates were shortlisted for assessment center. Feedback from the client clearly showed the 'conversion to offer' rates was the best they have experienced since the graduate programme began in 1999.
